Daniel Miller was born and raised in Arvada Colorado. His start in music began with extensive training in instrumental music. He played the string bass in multiple symphonies throughout his high school and college career as well as the tuba in marching band and brass ensembles. Daniel was also the creator of multiple ensembles throughout the start of his career, including a string quintet, a brass choir, and multiple barbershop quartets!
Daniel started his vocal performance career as most do in musical theater performing such roles as The Phantom in Phantom of the Opera, Jekyll and Hyde in Jekyll and hyde, Jean Valjean in Les Miserables.




Daniel stepped into opera roles shortly after his time in musical theater, pursuing it through out his time in his bachelor's and master's programs.
Daniel attended The University of Northern Colorado where he earned his bachelor's degree in opera performance, performing multiple recitals and several roles such as Tamino in Die Zauberflöte.
He then received his Master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University on a full ride, giving a full master's recital and performing such roles as Curio in Giulio Cesare, and Count Belfiore in Mozart's La finta giardiniera.
Daniel has gone on in his professional career to perform many more notable roles at a number of different companies such as Spoletta in Puccini's Tosca, Tybalt in Gounod's Romeo and Juliet, Tonio in Donizetti's La fille du regiment, The Witch in Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel, Count Almaviva in Rossini's Il barbiere di siviglia and most recently Gastone de Letorières in Verdi's La traviata, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, and Frederic in Pirates of Penzance.
